Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as TOAST accurately for order processing and cash handling. Take customer orders at the counter or drive-thru, providing friendly service and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Manage cash register transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food safety practices such as proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment. Support other team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations during busy hours. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or fast-food environments is preferred; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order entry and sales processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks quickly while maintaining quality standards. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to upsell menu items confidently. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced quick service or fast-food restaurant setting.
