Pay:

$27 p/h Required Experience At least 1 year of experience assisting a cook in preparing and cooking a varied menu

Knowledge of:

Principles, Procedures, and equipment used in the storage, care, preparation, cooking, and dispensing of food in large quantities, kitchen sanitation and safety measures used in the operation, cleaning, and care of utensils, equipment, and work areas. Ability to prepare and cook all food groups and use appropriate equipment. Key Responsibilities Prepare meals for licensed care residents Ensure food quality, including taste, color, and appearance Portion food accurately according to meal orders Follow menus for both regular and therapeutic diets Clean utensils, equipment, and work areas Follow posted cleaning schedules Report equipment repair or maintenance needs Receive, store, and inventory food supplies Comply with all local, state, and federal food-safety regulations Perform additional duties as assigned
