  • Part-time, Full-time The Gables of Brighton offers a vibrant and supportive community in Rochester, NY, designed for independent living and respite care.
Our community is designed to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
Essential Functions:
Prepare all food in accordance with the daily menu planner, using the community standardized recipes, in a timely manner. Work on the food line during mealtimes. Plate food in an attractive manner and ensure that all condiments and garnishes are prepared and served with the appropriate food. Keep work area and serving line equipment clean and adhere to sanitation cleaning schedules. Keep stock rooms, coolers, and freezers clean and ensure that food supplies are rotated all perishables are labeled, dated, and stored properly. Keep food waste to a minimum by using food storage and food recycling techniques. Attending all required training, in-service, and staff meetings. Perform all duties in adherence to city-state standards. Adhere to all policies and procedures of the facility. Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers. Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Dining Services.
