We at Portland Pie are looking to grow our core team of cooks! We are a fast-paced, yet casual, family restaurant that serves gourmet pizza and local craft beer. We emphasize quality over quantity and it certainly reflects in the experience we create for our guests! We offer dine in, curbside and delivery/take-out for the community and the surrounding areas. Our ideal candidate likes to collaborate with their fellow team members, has a strong sense of urgency, and enjoys the challenge that comes with cooking in a high volume environment. A positive attitude is definitely a plus! We strive to keep the atmosphere fun and relaxed; a sense of comradery pervades the space. We're accepting of cooks of all skill levels and we're always willing to train the right candidate! Cook responsibilities Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items. Collaborate with the Kitchen Manger and cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours. Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures. Rotate stock items as per established procedures. Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts. Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift.
