Summary:
This role is a temporary Co-op designed for Roux Institute students and will provide high level administrative, professional, and analytical services to MaineHealth Behavioral Health Programs or Projects. Independently plan, implement, and oversee special projects. May oversee staff to ensure timely completion of assignments. Acts as the liaison with all levels of care team members as well as with external stakeholders. The Co-op will run July-December 2026. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
bachelors degree preferred or 4 years relative experience. Currently enrolled at The Roux Institute.
License/Certifications:
N/A Experience:
At least 2 years of advanced administrative support experience is required. Additional years of experience above the requirements may substitute for educational requirements on a one-to-one basis (i.e. one year of experience equals one year of education). Basic knowledge of healthcare systems, with previous experience in healthcare industry and customer service preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including drafts of correspondence and other written materials. Strong software and computer skills, including Microsoft Office (including Power Point, Access, and Excel), database development and website development, Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work both independently and to collaborate with teams of individuals in diverse settings. Analytical ability to gather and interpret data in situation where the problems are moderately complex. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
