Cook for Assisted Living Community

Job description Responsibilities Prepare meals for residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and restrictions Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure proper menu planning and meal preparation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas Follow food safety protocols to ensure the health and well-being of residents Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing any concerns or requests promptly Assist with catering for special events or gatherings as needed

Qualifications:

Previous experience in food preparation or a related role is preferred Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds. The schedule is every Thursday and Friday and every other weekend.
