Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cook/Cashier, where your energetic and positive attitude will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. In this role, you will be the friendly face that ensures smooth transactions, maintains food safety standards, and supports the overall dining experience. Your culinary background and food handling expertise will help create a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. Please reach out via text to Brandin at 714 317 2544 Duties Greet customers warmly and process their purchases efficiently at the cashier station Handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately Assist with food preparation and serving when needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and dining space in accordance with food safety regulations Support menu planning efforts by providing feedback on popular items and customer preferences Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during meal service and catering events Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation, serving times, and special dietary requests Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments preferred Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Strong knife skills, cooking abilities, and experience with food preparation are highly desirable Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Experience in fine dining or catering settings is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with a lively, energetic approach to engaging guests Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about food industry operations who want to grow their culinary skills while providing outstanding service. Pay:
$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
