In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to memorable dining experiences that keep patrons coming back. Whether you're assisting in menu planning or honing your cooking skills, this position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the food industry and make a positive impact every day. The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele! Duties Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste. Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. Support kitchen operations by performing food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and cooking using proper knife skills. Serve food efficiently in a calm and courteous manner, ensuring guest satisfaction. Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients, ensuring each ingredient is high quality and fresh Contribute to events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and quality standards. Monitor stock and place orders accurately when there are shortages Experience Background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service, with a focus on high-volume environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation regulations within the food industry. Hands-on experience with menu planning and meal preparation. Skilled in using kitchen tools and knives safely and effectively to produce consistent results. Experience working in a fast-paced setting that requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Passion for culinary arts combined with a commitment to providing exceptional food service that delights guests. Ability to work in a team setting as well as being able to work alone with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent.
