Job Description

Our CNC job shop is growing fast, delivering precision components for aerospace, automotive, and medical device customers. We obsess over quality, invest in advanced manufacturing technology, and continually improve how we build and verify every part. Role Overview Join our quality assurance team as a CMM expert who ensures every machined feature meets print. You will program and run Coordinate Measuring Machines, verify complex geometries, and partner closely with machinists and engineers to ship parts that meet demanding specifications and tolerances. A Day in the Life Kick off by loading or writing CMM programs to measure critical features on machined parts and assemblies. Study engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD to confirm datums, callouts, and inspection strategy. Perform first article inspections to validate setups, run in-process checks to keep production on target, and complete final inspections before shipment. Capture, document, and communicate results—including any non-conformances—with clarity and speed. Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools to complement CMM measurements. Collaborate with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues, refine processes, and prevent recurrence. Maintain accurate inspection records while supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives. What You Bring 2+ years of CMM inspection experience in a CNC machining environment. Hands-on skill in CMM programming and operation using PC-DMIS, Zeiss Calypso, or comparable software. Deep understanding of GD&T and how it applies to real-world measurement strategies. Exceptional attention to detail and practical problem-solving abilities. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications with confidence. Strong teamwork and communication skills across QA, engineering, and production. Benefits BC/BSM Health, Dental & Vision Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan 25% Company Match Paid Vacation & Holidays Weekly Pay If you take pride in dimensional accuracy and want to grow with a shop that values precision and progress, we'd like to meet you.
