- Shape the financial discipline and cost visibility of a newly independent public company environment.
- Partner directly with senior leadership across Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and other corporate functions.
- Build scalable processes for budgeting, close support, vendor governance, and external reporting readiness.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Corporate G&A Planning & Performance Management- Own the full corporate G&A budget across shared services and corporate functions, including annual planning, monthly close support, quarterly reforecasts, and variance commentary.
- Provide financial partnership to leaders across Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Communications, Procurement, Real Estate, and other corporate functions.
- Produce monthly G&A variance package: actuals vs. AOP, actuals vs. prior period, updated full-year outlook with explanatory commentary for each major line item
- Own the quarterly G&A reforecast: work with each functional leader to update full-year spend projections and identify savings opportunities or pressure items
- Develop clear reporting and actionable insights on spend trends, run-rate changes, productivity, and cost pressures. Close Partnership & Controls
- Lead the finance calendar and review rhythm for the corporate segment, partnering closely with Accounting close analytics and financial statement integrity.
- Help ensure corporate costs are planned, recorded, and reported with public-company discipline and control awareness. Contract & Spend Governance
- Oversee financial governance for major corporate vendor relationships, including contract economics, approval compliance, renewal planning, and spend tracking.
- Partner with functional leaders to monitor large recurring spend categories such as software, professional services, insurance, and enterprise support contracts.
- Maintain visibility into contract commitments, renewal timing, and opportunities to optimize spend. Standalone Cost Management & Transition Management
- Own the standalone cost model for corporate functions and track progress against transition milestones as services are brought in-house or shifted from transitional arrangements.
- Build multi-year cost visibility and support leadership updates on the pace, timing, and financial impact of standalone readiness activities.
- Translate transition activity into clear cost bridges, forecast updates, and management reporting.
- Publish monthly TSA savings scorecard Board, Investor & Leadership Reporting
- Prepare corporate G&A content for board materials, executive financial reviews, and other leadership reporting packages.
- Support external-reporting-related analyses, including cost narratives, MD&A support, and reconciliation schedules where applicable.
- Provide decision support for investor relations, earnings preparation, and executive Q&A tied to corporate cost performance and outlook.
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or G&A finance.
- Experience supporting large-scale corporate or shared services budgets in a complex business environment.
- Experience with month-end close support, expense accruals, and partnership with accounting and audit teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor spend, contract economics, and financial governance processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling capability; proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize cost drivers and performance into clear executive-level commentary.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, Master's in Finance, CPA, or comparable advanced finance credential.
- Experience in a public-company environment, ideally within data, SaaS, information services, or another analytically intensive industry.
- Hands-on experience managing a corporate G&A budget of substantial scale, including cross-functional planning and performance reviews.
- Exposure to post-IPO, post-spin, post-merger, or other complex transition environments.
- Experience with EPM or planning tools such as Adaptive, Anaplan, or comparable platforms.
- Familiarity with TSA management, shared services transitions, or standalone cost build-outs.
