Pay Rate :
$30.00-$34.00/hour
Hours :
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Hire Type:
Contract (6 months, possible extension) Sterling Engineering is partnering with a manufacturing company to bring on a Staff Accountant with a strong focus on cost accounting. This role supports plant operations through cost analysis, inventory tracking, and financial reporting tied to production.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and analyze inventory and cost data Monitor production costs, labor, and overhead Support month-end close and journal entries Perform variance analysis and identify cost savings opportunities Partner with operations on budgeting and forecasting Assist with inventory valuation and reporting accuracy
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment Strong Excel and ERP system experience Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
