Back To Results Cost Accountant Job Description Cost Accountant - Longmount Colorado We are looking for a Cost Accountant to add to our team in Longmont, CO. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for all inventory accounting functions.

Key areas of responsibility:

Developing inventory analysis reports and analyzing variances Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory Verifying accurate standard costs Monitoring inventory transactions Performing month-end cost accounting close Calculating annual Standard Cost updates (Material & Labor) Reconciling monthly inventory accounts to the general ledger Preparing monthly journal entries Understanding Revenue Recognition including Multiple Element Recognition Building relationships with international factory personnel Special projects as required

Qualifications:

Education Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business, accounting, finance, or related field required Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements Experience Minimum one year of general accounting experience required Advanced work in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree (e.g., junior and senior year, etc.) in accounting, finance, or a related field can be substituted for one year of experience Other Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required Click here to apply online Share This Position Details Location Longmount CO Date Posted 8/26/2018 Apply Processing...
