COTA - Travel Contract

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Waukon, IA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or accredited OTA program. Active Iowa COTA license or ability to obtain required state licensure prior to the assignment start. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience providing occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Client requires experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and documentation in an electronic medical record preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and follow supervision from a licensed Occupational Therapist.
