Cottage Cleaning for Vacation Rentals

Krainin Real Estate in Raymond, Maine is hiring cottage cleaners during our busy summer season. Cleanings primarily take place on Saturdays, between vacation rental occupants. All cleaners work in small groups to clean several privately-owned vacation rental cottages on various lakes throughout the Greater Sebago Lake Region area. We provide all supplies and equipment, good pay, and a weekly paycheck.

Wage:

Starting rate is $18.00 per hour with the potential to increase. Those who drive on the job will get a mileage reimbursement of 44¢ per mile. All income is reported to the State and Federal government.

Requirements:

Must be a US citizen or have documentation to work in the US Must have residency in the state of Maine between late June and late August Available most Saturdays from late June - late August between the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm Able to lift up to 30lbs frequently Must arrive promptly to work Able to pay attention to detail, clean well, and take pride in your work Capable of squatting, bending over, walking, standing, twisting, kneeling, and reaching frequently throughout the day Able to work in non-air conditioned summer homes and cottages Capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting heavy furniture and equipment occasionally Able to tolerate cleaning agent odors, chemicals, and dust throughout the day Be able to communicate and cooperate with a team Must work effectively in a fast-paced environment Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
