Counter Help- Cafe

Overview We are a two location Coffee shop / Cafe located in Branford and Guilford Responsibilities Greet customers warmly Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and cashiering procedures. Prepare beverages like coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling protocols. Assist with food preparation and serving to ensure quick turnaround times and quality presentation. Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, dining space, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while balancing multiple tasks. Support sales efforts by upselling menu items and promoting specials to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue. Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Previous barista or coffee experience is a plus, demonstrating knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage customization. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
