This position combines customer service, counter sales, inventory management, purchasing, and warehouse support into one dynamic role. We are a small plumbing supply house that is looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, staying organized, and taking ownership of responsibilities. You will work directly with homeowners, contractors, and designers, daily, helping troubleshoot issues, locate the right parts and products, and ensure customers receive exceptional service. Plumbing knowledge is preferred but not required. Curiosity, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn are most important.

A Little About Your Day:

• Assist walk-in customers such as, homeowners, contractors, and designers, with product selection, and troubleshooting issues.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in person, responding to needs quickly and professionally.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Help customers identify parts and solutions for plumbing-related issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional counter and warehouse area.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed.
• Check inventory regularly to determine which products need to be reordered.
• Purchase items for the sales counter.
• Receive and check in incoming inventory shipments accurately.
• Inspect received products to ensure accuracy and confirm items are not damaged.
• Stock shelves and organize products throughout the counter area.
• Sort through inventory to create and maintain organization and accuracy.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records.
• Work closely with team members to support day-to-day operations and ensure excellent customer service.
• Step in wherever needed to support the team and keep operations running smoothly.

Physical Demands:

What You'll Need for

Success:

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations or counter sales.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Plumbing industry knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with inventory management, stocking, purchasing, and order processing.
• Strong computer skills, including data entry and familiarity with inventory/order systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
