Counter Person

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Take customer orders and process payments using the cash register
• Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and procedures
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times
• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and cooking as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area and dining space
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service
• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus
