County Program Director

Position Summary:

The County Program Director - Behavioral Health is responsible for the administrative oversight of multiple behavioral health programs operating at a satellite site within the assigned county. This position ensures day-to-day program operations run smoothly, supports staff, ensures compliance with agency policies and procedures, and acts as the on-site administrative leader. Clinical supervision and oversight remain the responsibility of the main Program Director at the home site. The County Program Director works closely with agency leadership, internal teams, and community partners to support program success and service access.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide administrative leadership and support for staff across multiple behavioral health programs at the satellite site. Supervise staff in maintaining program schedules, productivity, and workflow. Ensure operations are aligned with agency policies, regulatory guidelines, contractual requirements, and quality standards. Monitor staff compliance with documentation, billing, and operational protocols. Collaborate with the main Program Director and clinical leadership to support staff training, development, and performance. Oversee site-specific administrative functions such as scheduling, facilities coordination, supply management, and safety protocols. Monitor site-level data and reporting requirements; assist with performance tracking and quality improvement initiatives. Represent the agency in local community meetings, collaborative partnerships, and stakeholder engagements. Assist with coordination of new initiatives, grant-funded projects, and program expansion efforts at the satellite site. Act as a liaison between satellite site staff and home site leadership to ensure continuity and consistency across programs.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a human services discipline Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in behavioral health or human services, with a preference of at least 2 years in a supervisory or administrative role. Experience managing or supporting multiple service lines or program areas strongly preferred.

Strong administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective team leadership and staff supervision abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in documentation standards, regulatory compliance, and electronic health records (EHR). Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with off-site leadership.
