Independent Contractor About Us Tiftarea Psychiatric and Counseling Services (TPACS) is a community-focused outpatient practice providing mental health and substance use services to individuals and families in Tifton and surrounding areas. We work closely with local organizations and court systems to support meaningful recovery and long-term wellness. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and engaging Group Facilitator to lead behavioral health and substance use groups in an outpatient setting. This role focuses on delivering structured group sessions, supporting clients in recovery, and contributing to a team-based care environment. This position requires in-person attendance. Remote services are not available. What You'll Do Lead and manage group sessions focused on substance use, recovery, and behavioral health Provide educational support on topics such as coping skills, relapse prevention, and wellness strategies Complete and maintain accurate clinical documentation in a timely manner Work collaboratively with clinical staff to support client care and progress Ensure all services are delivered in compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulations Participate in coordination efforts with community partners or court systems when needed Maintain organized and up-to-date client records Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following: Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health-related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services), or Valid certification in substance use treatment (e.g., CAC or equivalent) Additional Requirements Ability to work independently in a contractor role Active professional liability insurance Strong written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational and time-management abilities Comfort managing group dynamics and maintaining professional boundaries Understanding of regulatory and confidentiality standards Preferred Background Experience facilitating behavioral health or substance use groups Exposure to court-mandated or community-based programs Familiarity with clinical documentation practices (including diagnostic coding) Why Join TPACS Be part of a mission-driven behavioral health team Make a direct impact in your local community Supportive and collaborative work environment Flexible, part-time contractor opportunity How to Apply Please submit your resume along with any relevant certifications.
