Crane Operator

Overview In this role, you will operate heavy-duty cranes and related equipment to lift, move, and position materials safely and efficiently on our customer's sites. Your expertise will ensure projects progress smoothly, safely, and on schedule. Duties Operate cranes to lift and move materials with precision Rig loads securely using proper rigging techniques to ensure safety during lifting operations Coordinate with ground personnel to plan lifts and ensure clear communication throughout operations Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Assist with site setup by positioning heavy equipment and preparing materials for lifting or transport Maintain detailed logs of crane operations, inspections, and safety checks to ensure compliance with safety standards Requirements Must be NCCO Certified Proven experience operating cranes Strong mechanical knowledge of crane systems and heavy equipment maintenance Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for operating large vehicles if required Skilled in rigging techniques and materials handling procedures for safe lifting operations Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction site regulations
