Job DescriptionJob Description General Summary The Credit Union Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing Operations, Compliance, and Information Technology while contributing to strategic planning and execution. The role focuses on ensuring efficient operations, regulatory compliance, high-quality sales and service delivery, and strong coordination across departments. Qualifications Three to five years of experience is desired in a financlal institution with familiarity with credit union / banking system terminology and acronyms is a plus. Knowledge of operations, products, policies, and systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks assigned. Proven track record exhibiting supervisory skills, strong customer service and sales orientation. Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to apply sound reasoning. Some college or high school diploma with advanced coursework in business/finance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong customer service and sales orientation.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning:
Assist the President/CEO with long- and short-term planning; execute strategic goals and objectives set by the Board.
Operational Oversight:
Ensure all operational, compliance, and IT functions meet credit union standards; maintain service quality and integrity; recommend system and process improvements.
Compliance & IT:
Maintain regulatory adherence; serve as Compliance Officer for BSA, OFAC, and Patriot Act; manage required staff training.
Administration:
Oversee and develop policies, procedures, complete reports, and keep leadership informed.
Staff Leadership:
Supervise Member Service Representatives, conduct training, coaching, evaluations, corrective action, hiring and staffing oversight.
Member & Community Relations:
Maintain professional relationships; work with vendors, assist members and local businesses, auditors and examiners, administer assigned programs.
Additional Duties:
Deliver and ensure strong sales and service delivery. Create and maintain a cross-selling environment. Resolve member needs and inquiries promptly.
