Crew Groundsperson Full-Time:

40 Hours Per Week Burns Tree Service is hiring a reliable Ground Crew Member to join our growing team. Summary:

As a Grounds person, you will be part of a crew that provides high-quality tree care to our clients. You will be involved in all aspects of pruning, tree removal, stump grinding, and other related tree care. You'll be expected to safely operate all equipment and perform the assigned job tasks, while also providing excellent service to our clients.

Essential Responsibilities:

Assist climber and crew leader on job sites Operate chainsaws and other hand tools Drag brush and feed chipper Maintain clean and organized job sites Follow all safety procedures Assist with equipment setup and breakdown Driving trucks or operating other equipment, as assigned Servicing trucks and equipment, keeping trucks and other assigned equipment in orderly fashion. Reporting of any repairs are needed on trucks or equipment. Loading & unloading trucks with logs, brush and debris, feeding brush into chipper Carrying, laying out and stowing materials, tools and equipment on work site Must Demonstrate the

Hardworking and dependable team player Attention to detail Demonstrate a high quality of care Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ lbs Experience with chainsaws or tree work preferred (but willing to train the right person) Valid driver's license preferred

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of tying and specific uses for tree-industry knots is a plus!
• Safety for all types of equipment used (chipper, stump grinder, chain saw)
• Knowledge of chain saw blade sharpening / maintenance is a plus!
