Crew Leader, Landscape Maintenance

Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and communicating with clients. Lead a crew of landscape technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and safety compliance. Oversee lawn care tasks such as fertilization, weed control, and pest management to maintain healthy turf. Assist with landscaping projects including planting new greenery, constructing garden beds, and performing general landscape enhancements. Conduct routine inspections of work sites to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality expectations, and project timelines. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide professional recommendations. Maintain equipment and tools in excellent condition through regular inspections and proper usage. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant health and landscape design principles. Supervising or leadership experience managing teams in outdoor or construction settings. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair as well as tree care practices. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, operating machinery safely, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and client interactions.
