Crew Leader- Landscape Maintenance

Role Overview The Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader is the frontline leader of our commercial maintenance operations. You will manage a crew, oversee high-end equipment, and ensure every blade of grass reflects our commitment to excellence.

Primary Responsibilities Team Leadership:

Direct daily crew activities, manage labor hours effectively, and mentor crew members in best practices.

Operational Excellence:

Execute mowing (zero-turn, stand-on, push), edging, trimming, pruning, and seasonal debris removal.

Logistics & Tech:

Operate company vehicles safely and utilize production software via smartphone for precise time-tracking and job documentation.

Horticultural Care:

Oversee the installation and maintenance of flowers, shrubs, and garden beds; identify specific needs for different grass and turf types.

Equipment Stewardship:

Perform minor 2-cycle and mower repairs, follow weekly maintenance schedules, and coordinate with the Mechanic via our tagging system.

Preparation:

Manage the "afternoon reset"—preparing trucks and equipment daily to ensure a seamless start the following morning. Key Skills & Qualities An "Eye" for

Ability to work independently, troubleshoot equipment issues, and manage on-site challenges with a positive attitude.

Requirements Experience:

3+ years of professional landscaping experience preferred.

Licensing:

Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (required).

Compliance:

Must be 21+ years of age and able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform demanding physical labor (bending, climbing, pulling) in various weather conditions.

Paid Holiday and PTO Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
