Responsibilities Prepare food items efficiently and according to safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, payments, and cash handling. Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, dining spaces, and food handling stations in compliance with health regulations. Assist with food delivery to tables or pickup counters, ensuring timely service during busy periods. Support cash register operations including cashiering duties and accurate cash handling. Uphold food safety standards through proper food preparation, storage, and sanitation practices. Engage in bussing tables, clearing dishes, and supporting overall restaurant cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment. Able to stand for long hours and handle light kitchen work. Skills Experience in food preparation and the food industry is highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking across various responsibilities. Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy. Previous restaurant experience or work in quick service & fast-food environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
