Job Description
Critical Care Paramedic - Multi Region TeamJob Qualifications
Position is responsible for providing emergency medical services.
The position provides medical services, including response, assessment, treatment as authorized by SMOs, and transport.
The employee must follow all policies as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures.
Performs related duties as assigned.
The team will be dedicated to working in multiple regions within the Team Triage ambulance services.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The process consists of a leadership interview.
Candidates given a conditional offer of employment.
Certification-appropriate system entrance skills/written testing will be required for out of system applicants.
- Valid Illinois Paramedic License
- Valid U.S. Driver's License required
- Current AHA Basic Life Support certification
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support

- Critical Care Paramedic certificateJob FunctionsUnder the direction of the area leadership, the purpose of this position is performing as a Critical Care Paramedic in a mobile setting.
Position is responsible for providing emergency medical services.

- Requires the ability to use computer software for operational and clinical tasks.
- Requires the ability to process information and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Physical Ability:
tasks involve the ability to exert very heavy physical effort in very heavy work, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of heavy objects and materials.Scheduling:
24-hour rotating schedule.Environmental Factors:
tasks may risk exposure to extreme heat/cold or extreme weather conditions, strong odors and/or smoke, strong and/or toxic chemicals, and dust or pollen.The process consists of a leadership interview.
