Schedule:

Contract-based role Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

Active RN license and ICU experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Proficiency with ventilator and sedation management Proven skills in medication titration Ability to perform and assist with unit procedures such as trach placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion Positive attitude and strong teamwork abilities Problem-solving mindset, adaptable in a fast-paced setting

Unit Highlights:

Patient ratio of 2:1 for optimal care Unit supported by techs and secretarial staff Advanced technology: GE monitors, Drager vents, Pyxis med dispense, Nova glucometers Uses Meditech for documentation Trauma III certified facility

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive critical care to assigned patients Communicate effectively using AIDET and completion of communication boards Provide patient and family education, including medication instruction Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and float in rotation as needed Uphold unit guidelines and policies, ensuring consistent, high-quality care Wear charcoal gray scrubs as required Why consider this assignment?
