Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cryptologic Computer Scientist to solve complex, mission-driven problems at the intersection of computer science and cybersecurity. In this role, you will design and implement advanced solutions to support activities such as forensic analysis, threat attribution, network defense, and system exploitation, all within a rigorous scientific framework. This position blends computer science and cyber threat analysis, with a strong emphasis on Python and Spark/PySpark. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in network and protocol analysis and is comfortable working with customer-specific tools and environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy solutions to challenging cryptologic and cybersecurity problems Support efforts in forensics, attack attribution, network protection, and system analysis Apply advanced computer science principles to develop innovative tools and methodologies Analyze data from active and passive systems to generate actionable insights
Requirements:
Strong foundation in core computer science disciplines such as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, and computer architecture Experience in areas such as algorithm development, modeling and simulation, reverse engineering, or systems design Proficiency in Python and Spark/PySpark Solid background in network and protocol analysis Familiarity with customer tools and operational environments Education and Experience Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years experience depending on level Associate's degree plus 7 + years experience depending on level Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, with coursework in programming and advanced mathematics. TS/SCI with
