CT - P1/P2 Liscensed Plumber

GBL Mechanical Inc. is a plumbing and sprinkler contractor specializing in residential and commercial projects throughout New York City and Connecticut for over 20 years. We're expanding our team and looking to recruit multiple P1/P2 licensed plumbers for a large scale commercial project in Stamford, CT . The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction plumbing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The candidate that demonstrates mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics to complete assigned projects is the one we want. But above all else, we are looking for dependable, honest and hard working individuals . Experience is second to the attitude we need for our projects, and for your work we compensate fair and honestly with good flexibility in work.

Requirements :

Legally allowed to work in the United States of America. Valid

P1/P2 CT

license holder Experience in operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Adhere to safety protocols & directions while working. Must be able to work well with others.

Preferences :

OSHA SST

certification is a plus. Valid drivers license preferred. Able to work independently as directed.

Responsibilities :

Able to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fittings, and fixtures. Comfortably to operate in commercial plumbing construction site. Read and follow directions of supervisors, OSHA and blueprints. Conduct pipe threading and assembly tasks accurately as per instructions. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project completion.

Compensation :

Our starting amount is $30/hr . We will pay fairly to both your experience and quality of work , and will adjust accordingly after a short trial period. If coming from another company, we are able to pay up to $3/hr more than your previous pay stubs.

Schedule:
