Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract A skilled CT Technologist is needed to provide high-quality imaging services within a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in computed tomography and a patient-centered approach to care, ensuring precise diagnostic imaging while prioritizing comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to capture images per established protocols Position and prepare patients appropriately, explaining procedures and addressing concerns Monitor image quality and adjust settings for optimal diagnostic value Maintain accurate records and properly document procedures in the electronic medical record Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to facilitate seamless patient care Adhere to safety guidelines, including radiation protection procedures Perform routine equipment checks and coordinate maintenance as needed Assist in the training of new staff or students, as directed
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program Current ARRT (CT) certification Valid state license to practice as a radiology technologist Previous experience as a CT Technologist; strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy Proficiency in operating advanced CT imaging equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Demonstrated commitment to excellent patient care The contract position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a modern clinical environment, contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.
