Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a vital role where your skills as a CT Technologist will have an immediate impact on patient care. This contract opportunity is ideal for imaging professionals eager to utilize their expertise in computed tomography within a collaborative healthcare environment. You will handle advanced imaging procedures, support diagnostic accuracy, and provide compassionate care throughout the imaging process.
Responsibilities include:
Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment for high-quality diagnostic scans Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Prepare patients for procedures, offering clear explanations and reassurance Assess images for technical quality and identify additional imaging needs Follow safety protocols regarding radiation and patient care Accurately document patient data and imaging results in the health record Keep current with advances in CT technology and procedure best practices Preferred qualifications: ARRT (CT) certification or equivalent CT technologist credentials Proven experience operating CT equipment in a hospital or imaging center setting Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and advanced imaging protocols Exceptional attention to detail and ability to remain calm in urgent situations Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork Current BLS certification This role offers the chance to work alongside skilled professionals in a supportive and fast-paced atmosphere where your technical abilities are valued and your contributions are recognized.
