Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current ARRT (CT) certification required Valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist Minimum of one year experience in CT imaging; proficiency with modern CT systems preferred Strong understanding of anatomy, positioning, and imaging protocols for a variety of patient conditions Exceptional attention to detail and safety precautions, especially with radiation safety Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality diagnostic CT scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols Prepare patients for CT procedures, ensuring comfort and providing clear instructions for optimal image acquisition Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot CT equipment Accurately document patient data and procedures within electronic medical records Collaborate with radiology and clinical staff to ensure timely and precise results Monitor patients during procedures for safety and address any reactions to contrast media Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with infection control standards
