Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Take your career to the next level with a contract opportunity specializing in CT Imaging. This role focuses on advanced diagnostic imaging working with a diverse patient population, including adult inpatients, outpatients, and occasionally pediatric cases. You'll collaborate with a professional, dynamic imaging team, utilizing state-of-the-art GE technology in a busy radiology setting.
Schedule & Hours:
12-hour shifts, mids 36 hours per week: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM Start date: 6/22
Qualifications & Experience:
ARRT certification (General Radiography and CT) required BLS certification required State license preferred Minimum 1 year of strong CT experience (first-time travelers considered with 2+ years' strong CT background) Experience with trauma, angiogram, biopsy drainage, and stroke perfusion (strongly preferred) Comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient settings, occasional pediatric coverage Must provide own markers
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT scans including trauma, angiogram, biopsy, and perfusion studies Manage an average of four patients per hour, primarily adult with some pediatric outpatients Float within main Radiology department, adapting to varying workloads and areas as needed Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team—typically two CT techs and one assistant per shift Accurately document procedures using Cerner EMR Maintain compliance with facility and departmental policies, including holiday and weekend rotations
