Job Description

Category Imaging - CT/X-Ray Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic environment and contribute your expertise in imaging as a CT/X-Ray technologist. This vital contract opportunity calls for an experienced professional adept in both CT and general radiology procedures, capable of delivering high-quality scans with a patient-first mindset.
Schedule/Hours:
5:25 am to 12:00 pm shifts
Qualifications:
Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with certification in both CT and X-Ray modalities Current state radiologic technologist license and BLS certification required Strong experience with CT scanners and digital X-ray systems in acute care or hospital settings Skilled in patient positioning, safety protocols, and image quality assessment Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care Proficient with electronic medical record/charting systems
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT and X-ray examinations with precision, following physician orders and maintaining high imaging standards Position patients appropriately and ensure safe use of imaging equipment Adjust protocols as needed according to patient history and clinical indications Routinely assess images for diagnostic quality before releasing to radiologists Monitor and prioritize workflow efficiently to meet department needs and minimize patient wait times Adhere to strict radiation safety, infection control, and organizational policies Support physicians and radiologists with clear reporting and timely communication Benefit from working in a supportive clinical setting that values your technical skills and commitment to excellence.
