Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a vital role in patient care by utilizing your expertise in CT imaging at a respected healthcare facility. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated imaging professional who thrives in a dynamic clinical environment and is committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic services.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from ARRT or equivalent credential Active, unrestricted radiologic technologist license Demonstrated experience operating CT imaging equipment in a healthcare setting Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and protocol adherence Ability to interact compassionately with patients of all backgrounds Familiarity with electronic health records and digital imaging systems Excellent attention to detail and troubleshooting skills Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, providers, and other technologists
Primary Responsibilities:
Independently perform high-quality CT examinations as ordered by medical staff Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedures Review physician orders, obtain relevant patient history, and verify correct patient identification Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to established protocols Monitor patient condition during scans and respond appropriately to emergent situations Follow strict infection control standards, patient privacy regulations, and documentation protocols Accurately archive and transmit images for physician review Collaborate with radiology and interdisciplinary teams to support patient diagnosis and care This contract role offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art imaging technology, while making an immediate impact on patient outcomes.
