Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Experienced PET/CT technologists are needed to provide high-quality imaging services within a dynamic healthcare environment. In this engaging role, your excellent communication skills will enable you to guide patients with clarity and empathy, making complex procedures approachable and ensuring each individual's comfort and safety throughout their visit.
Schedule/Hours:
Typical contract-based assignment (details provided during interview process) Local travel may be required between imaging sitesQualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred Certification in Nuclear Medicine required (NMTCB or ARRT (N)), plus state license as applicable BLS (AHA) certification required At least 1-2 years ofPET/PETCT
imaging experience, with sufficient training in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies State driver's license, if required for travel Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to safe, compassionate patient careKey Responsibilities:
Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients, ensuring understanding and alleviating concerns Perform pre-screening for imaging contraindications and follow established protocols for aseptic injection and radiation safety, including all required documentation Produce diagnostic PET/CT images of the highest possible quality, ensuring all images meet physician specifications Communicate professionally and clearly with radiologists, healthcare providers, and patients Provide guidance and training for new technologists or patient care staff Troubleshoot imaging equipment, including scanners, monitors, PACS, and related peripherals, as necessary to maintain workflow and image integrityBenefits:
