Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Deliver advanced diagnostic imaging services with expertise in CT and MRI in a dynamic healthcare setting in Craig, CO. This contract role calls for a skilled technologist adept at performing high-quality imaging procedures while maintaining patient safety and comfort. You will work closely with patients, providing clear explanations of imaging processes to ensure their understanding and cooperation. Your role will extend beyond imaging to include equipment operation and troubleshooting, record-keeping, and contributing to a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI and CT imaging procedures according to established protocols. Apply advanced knowledge of radiographic techniques including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and C-arm usage in OR settings. Adhere to radiation safety standards consistent with ALARA principles. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment; coordinate maintenance services as needed. Maintain accurate patient documentation within electronic health records, including procedure and supply charges. Cross-train in other modalities as required and contribute to flexible scheduling, including call and overtime shifts. Participate in clerical tasks and assist with patient transport when necessary. Support workflow efficiency by ordering and managing imaging supplies. Uphold strict patient confidentiality and comply with all regulatory and safety standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. ARRT certification in Radiology (R), CT, and MRI. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days. Minimum two years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist with CT and MRI experience preferred. Cross-training in DEXA and Mammography and familiarity with electronic records systems such as PACS and RIS/HIS is advantageous. Authorization to work legally in the U.S., successful background check and pre-employment screenings completed.
