Manufacturing Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Identify and drive LEAN activities and initiatives to drive efficiencies and conformance. Assist with setup and startup and troubleshooting of injection molds in a cleanroom environment as required. Setup and startup of related auxiliary processes, dryers, thermolators, robots, sprue pickers, and automation \ assemble equipment. Program robotics on new applications Design and develop robotic end of arm tooling for injection molding machines. Understand scientific molding principles and a systematic approach to troubleshooting. Execute work instructions in accordance with documented procedures in an ISO9000 environment. Promote a culture of safety, cleanliness, organization, and teamwork.

• Must be able to read, understand, and follow bills of materials, prints, specs, and validated process parameters.
• Use of inspection tools and equipment for verification and conformity.
• Ability to cross train in other departments and assist as required.
• Clean and organize production work cells and areas.
• Assist in physical inventory and cycle counts. Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
• 2-3 years injection molding experience in a medical environment preferred.

$28.00 - $30.00 per hour
