CT Technologist - Montgomery, AL Soliant - 3.9 Montgomery, AL Job Details Contract $95 an hour Qualifications Radiology BLS Certification Radiology ARRT (R) Certification Basic life support ARRT (CT) Certification Full Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Join a dynamic healthcare team as a CT and PET Imaging Technologist in a busy, Level II Trauma Center with a comprehensive range of services including a Level III NICU and Primary Stroke Center. This contract position offers a focused schedule of three 12-hour shifts from Friday through Sunday, providing a rewarding opportunity to contribute to critical patient care while maintaining a balanced work-life schedule.
Location Highlights:
Situated in Montgomery, AL, this 492-bed medical center serves a diverse patient population including adults and occasional pediatrics in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The hospital utilizes advanced GE CT technology and the Cerner EMR system, ensuring you work with some of the latest tools in medical imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced CT imaging procedures including biopsy drainage, trauma scans, angiograms, and stroke perfusion studies (strongly preferred). Provide high-quality imaging services for a varied patient population with a typical volume of approximately 4 patients per hour. Float across multiple areas within the main Radiology department as needed. Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards in patient care. Complete an 8-hour hospital orientation plus 2-3 unit shifts on day shift for smooth integration.
Qualifications and Experience:
ARRT certification required; ARRT-CT certification mandatory for CT Tech role. Current BLS certification required. State license preferred. Minimum 1-year strong experience with required CT/PET skills accepted for travelers; first-time travelers must have at least 2 years relevant experience. Experience in trauma, angiography, and stroke perfusion imaging highly valued.
Schedule and Contract Details:
Friday to Sunday, 3 shifts of 12 hours each. No night back-up required. Holiday coverage expectations include one major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy but are not guaranteed off. Optional on-call availability.
Pay Rate:
