Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Make a difference at a 123-bed facility serving as both a Level III Trauma and Primary Stroke Center. Leverage your expertise across both CT and X-ray modalities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This contract opportunity is an excellent fit for imaging professionals with a strong independent work ethic and confidence in acute care settings.
Schedule and Hours:
Night shift: 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM (10 hours) Must be flexible for all seven days of the week; schedule set to meet department needs Shift schedule provided 4 weeks in advance within a 6-week rotation Weekend and holiday shifts may be required On-call duties assigned as needed (30-minute response time)
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' imaging experience in an acute care environment Comfortable working solo during night hours BLS and ARRT certifications, with active Wisconsin state license Experience with inpatient and ED patients (strokes, traumas, abdominal, CTA, angiography, vascular & contrast/non-contrast studies)
CT:
Skilled in power injection, IV placement (preferred), trauma/stroke response, and experience with GE or Toshiba equipment
X-ray:
Proficiency with general radiography, fluoroscopy, Fuji or Cannon equipment, and portable imaging Familiar with charting in EPIC and McKesson
PACS COVID
vaccination required Strong adaptability to float between CT and X-ray as required
Key Responsibilities:
Independently perform both CT and X-ray scans with an average of 45 studies nightly Prioritize emergency and inpatient imaging, including trauma and acute stroke protocols Accurately document imaging procedures using EPIC and maintain image quality using hospital PACS Follow all infection control standards, utilizing N95s, PAPRs, and PPE as needed Collaborate with Imaging Supervisor and Director of Imaging/Cardiovascular Service Line during orientation and ongoing assignments
