Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Take on a dynamic imaging role within a busy facility recognized as both a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. This contract opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled imaging professional who thrives working independently overnight, providing exceptional care to both inpatient and emergency department patients. The ability to expertly alternate between CT and X-ray is essential, as is a commitment to upholding the highest safety standards, including
COVID-19
precautions with full PPE support.
Schedule:
Night shift: 9:00 pm - 7:00 am (10 hours) 6-week schedule, with 4 weeks provided in advance Must be flexible across all 7 days per week; weekend and holiday rotation as needed On-call response time: 30 minutes
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' experience in an acute care setting (first-time travelers welcome with qualifying experience) Current
ARRT, BLS
certification, and valid WI state license Proficiency operating CT (GE or Toshiba) and X-ray (Fuji or Cannon) equipment IV start skills preferred; strong CTA, trauma, and stroke protocol experience Previous use of EPIC and McKesson PACS Capable of working independently with high attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of CT scans (stroke, trauma, abdominal, angiography/contrast, vascular) and general X-rays (including fluoroscopy, OR cases, all anatomical regions) Float as needed between CT and X-ray to address patient volumes Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to ED and inpatient populations Accurately document exams and interventions in EPIC Maintain infection control protocols and use available
