Job Description
To support the Population Health and Clinical Programs Department through administrative coordination of employee health, education, and infection control surveillancerelated activities. This position is primarily responsible for scheduling, documentation tracking, database maintenance, and compliance monitoring across onboarding and workforce readiness initiatives. The role utilizes licensed nursing knowledge to perform required physical assessments for new employees and to support infection control surveillance processes under the direction of Population Health leadership.
Supports staff in maintaining a culture of safety across nursing, population health, and employee wellness Follows isolation precautions, immunization protocols, and surveillance workflows in compliance with regulatory standards.
Experience in employee health, education coordination, or infection prevention preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Comfort working with confidential and sensitive information.
Knowledge of healthcare or public health settings preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate scheduling for pre-employment screenings and onboarding requirementsMaintain and track employee immunization records, TB screening, and fit testingAssist with documentation of annual competencies and mandatory educationMaintain employee health files and onboarding compliance recordsPerform required physical examinations for new employees as applicableSupport return-to-work clearance documentationMaintain departmental databases related to education, employee health, and complianceTrack completion of onboarding and annual training requirementsCoordinate scheduling of education sessions and screeningsPrepare reports for internal review or regulatory readinessMaintain organized records for audit and survey preparationSupport departmental meetings, minutes, and scheduling needsAssist with infection control surveillance activitiesMaintain exposure and communicable illness tracking logsSupport audit preparation (e.g., hand hygiene, PPE compliance)Assist with preparation of documentation for internal reporting (e.g., QAPI)Patient Safety ExpectationAdheres to established safety protocols, infection prevention standards, and hand hygiene practices to reduce the risk of harm to patients, residents, visitors, and staff.Supports staff in maintaining a culture of safety across nursing, population health, and employee wellness Follows isolation precautions, immunization protocols, and surveillance workflows in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program required. Current valid LPN license in the State of Wisconsin required.Experience in employee health, education coordination, or infection prevention preferred.
Skill, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organizational and clerical skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
