Cultivation Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cultivation Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the growth and health of plants within our cultivation facility. Your enthusiasm for horticulture, hands-on experience with plant care, and mechanical aptitude will help ensure optimal plant development. Duties Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and maintaining healthy plant growth using irrigation systems and hand tools Monitor plant health daily, identifying pests, diseases, or deficiencies through plant identification skills Manage environmental conditions such as humidity, temperature, and light levels within greenhouses or outdoor growing areas Perform routine maintenance on cultivation equipment, including irrigation systems and mechanical tools Support harvesting activities by trimming, pruning, and preparing plants for sale or further processing Maintain accurate records of plant progress, treatments applied, and environmental conditions using basic math skills for measurements and calculations Assist with outdoor work such as general site maintenance to ensure a clean and efficient cultivation environment Skills Proven growing experience in horticulture or farming environments with a strong understanding of plant needs Knowledge of irrigation systems and water management techniques Experience working in greenhouses or outdoor cultivation settings with an understanding of greenhouse environment controls Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively for planting, pruning, and maintenance tasks Familiarity with land management practices such as lawn care and landscaping Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Strong plant identification skills to recognize common pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping during cultivation processes Physical ability for heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions Passion for gardening, agriculture, or horticulture with a proactive approach to learning new techniques Join us as a Cultivation Technician and be part of a hard-working team dedicated to sustainable growth!
