Cultivation Technician (Trim) (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat)

Position Summary The Trim technician will work under the direction of the Dry/Trim Supervisor. The role mainly consists of organizing flower size, trimming flower, operating all pertinent machines/equipment, assisting with bucking/denug events, and documenting all production tasks. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Trim, prune, and prepare harvested plants for packaging and distribution using hand tools and mechanical equipment Identify plant health issues and ensure proper handling to maintain crop quality Assist with irrigation setup and maintenance to support optimal plant growth during post-harvest processing Conduct quality control checks on crops, ensuring they meet specified standards Use basic math skills for measurements and record keeping related to crop processing Perform heavy lifting as needed to move plants or materials safely within the workspace Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas in outdoor or greenhouse settings Support planting, gardening, landscaping, or other farming activities as required Knowledge & Skills Language Skills Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills Ability to use a laptop and/or tablet for data entries and tracking.
