Responsibilities Lead and supervise custodial staff during evening shifts, providing clear direction and support to ensure efficient cleaning routines. Oversee the completion of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold facility standards. Manage laundry operations as needed, ensuring linens and uniforms are properly cleaned and stored. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment. Train new team members on custodial procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment, and laundry materials; coordinate restocking as necessary. Promote a positive team environment by motivating staff, recognizing achievements, and addressing any operational issues promptly. Requirements Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services within commercial or hospitality settings. Prior supervisory or leadership experience managing cleaning teams or housekeeping staff. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety standards, and equipment operation. Experience with laundry processes and hotel or hospitality housekeeping management is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills to lead teams and coordinate with other departments. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy supplies, and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
