Custodial Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Custodial Supervisor to lead our cleaning team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for a school district. In this role, you will oversee daily custodial operations, supervise staff, and ensure high standards of cleanliness across all facilities. Your leadership will be vital in coordinating cleaning schedules, managing supplies, and implementing quality control measures to support a positive experience for staff and visitors alike. Opportunity for growth with in our company as well! This postion has a starting pay of 40,000k to 45,000k salary depending on experience. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate custodial staff to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. Develop and manage cleaning schedules for various areas, including offices, restrooms, classrooms, hallways, and common spaces. Train new team members on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, laundry products, and janitorial equipment; place orders as needed. Conduct regular inspections to assess cleanliness, safety compliance, and overall facility appearance. Lead efforts in special cleaning projects such as deep cleans, carpet shampooing, or post-event sanitation. Promote a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and recognition of staff achievements. Skills Supervising or management experience in a custodial or housekeeping environment. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety standards, and equipment operation. Proven experience in custodial services or janitorial work within commercial or hospitality settings or school districts. Experience with laundry operations and hotel or hospitality housekeeping management is preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in quality control inspections. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
