Custodian

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team in September of 2025. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facilities. This position involves various custodial tasks, including industrial cleaning, floor care, and general housekeeping duties. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to high standards of cleanliness. Conduct industrial cleaning operations, including buffing floors and maintaining various surfaces. Carry out commercial cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or needs for replenishment. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing custodial duties to ensure personal and public safety Perform other duties as deemed necessary or as assigned Experience Previous experience in custodial services is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous. Knowledge of floor care practices, including buffing and polishing methods. Experience in commercial cleaning environments is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently. A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and organized workspace is essential.
