Keep buildings and premises neat and clean at all times. Demonstrate flexibility while being on call to work emergency and weekend schedules. Assigned tasks include vacuum classrooms daily, dust furniture, empty all waste baskets, and clean off white boards if needed. Clean corridors and drinking fountains after school each day. Wash windows inside and out periodically. Disinfect restrooms and floors daily, clean all sanitary fixtures, replenish restroom supplies. Keep the grounds free from rubbish. Make minor building repairs and/or report repairs, damage, or unusual circumstances to supervisor. Conduct an ongoing program of general maintenance, upkeep, and repair. Ensure that all exit doors, entry ways, and windows are secured. Assume responsibility for opening and closing of the building. Move furniture and equipment within the district. Works cooperatively with colleagues while following supervisor instruction. All other duties as assigned. Must demonstrate aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities. Good physical health, required to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. Must have a valid Washington Driver's License. Must be willing and able to obtain CDL and bus endorsement within 3 months of hire. (Bus Driver Trainer on-site) A background check will be required. Pre-employment and random drug testing throughout the school year is required. School Board approval required.
