Custodian

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety at our industrial site. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial and custodial services, with a strong focus on creating a clean, welcoming environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our spaces meet health and safety standards while providing a pleasant atmosphere for employees, clients, and visitors. Applicants should be reliable, proactive, and committed to high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

Hours/Days:

Monday-Friday 1pm to 9pm Duties Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various areas Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and other floor care techniques Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed, including use of specialized equipment for deep cleaning Ensure restrooms are sanitized and stocked with supplies at all times Maintain cleanliness of common areas, offices, hallways, and other designated spaces Follow safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and tools efficiently and safely Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or industrial settings Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing is highly desirable Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and procedures is beneficial Previous porter or maintenance roles demonstrate relevant skills in facilities upkeep Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe and hygienic environment while developing skills in various cleaning and maintenance techniques.
