Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high sanitation standards. Maintain floor care through buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve the appearance and safety of all flooring types. Handle custodial duties for both commercial and residential settings, ensuring spaces are tidy and well-kept at all times. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention. Support industrial cleaning projects when needed, including cleaning large equipment or high-traffic areas. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial procedures. Skilled in floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain flooring quality. Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices along with residential painting or maintenance skills is a plus. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently in various environments. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks effectively. Capable of working independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report maintenance issues promptly.
